6.4L HEMI® V8 ENGINE

The 6.4L HEMI® V8 engine is the standard engine for the 2024 Ram Chassis Cab. Using variable-cam timing and Fuel Saver Technology, it provides full-rated V8 power when needed and outstanding efficiency when operating in four-cylinder mode. The 8HP75 eight-speed automatic transmission offers reliability and efficiency and features eight speeds and on-the-fly shift mapping to accommodate changing loads and road conditions. The Aisin six-speed automatic transmission is also available and has been optimized for exceptional towing as well as outstanding power take off capability, impressive efficiency and low noise, vibration, and harshness.
